Terms of Service
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and SkillVantage Enterprise, LLC (“SkillVantage,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using GROW™ Connections, EmployerHub, or our websites (the “Services”), you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
1. Who can use the Services
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes the organization.
- You may not use the Services if you have been barred from them, or if the law forbids it.
1A. Using the Services from outside the United States
The Services are operated from the United States and are open to members worldwide. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you where you live and work, including laws about employment, advertising and online conduct. You may not use the Services if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region under United States embargo, or if you are on a United States government restricted-party list. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
2. The Services
GROW™ is a professional social network and talent workspace. Members build profiles, connect, form Squads, track Dreams, and run IntelliSkill™ matches. Verified organizations use EmployerHub to post jobs, search resumes members choose to share, and manage an Organization Page. We may add, change or remove features, and we will give notice of changes that significantly reduce a paid plan.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it current. One person, one account.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
- Employer features are available only to members of organizations we have verified. We may refuse or end verification at our discretion.
4. Your content
You own what you post and upload (“Your Content”). You give SkillVantage a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and adapt Your Content only as needed to run, secure and improve the Services and to show it to the people and employers you choose. You promise you have the rights to share Your Content, and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. When you delete Your Content or your account, the license ends, except for copies others have already shared or that remain briefly in backups.
Resumes are private by default. Verified employers can see a resume only if you choose to share it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
5. Rules of the community
You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you will not:
- post unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexual, threatening or deceptive content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity, skills, employer or experience;
- post fake jobs, ask members for money to apply or be hired, or send spam;
- scrape or collect member information, resell or republish resume data, or use it for any purpose other than recruiting and evaluating candidates;
- use the Services to discriminate against anyone because of a protected characteristic;
- probe, disrupt or bypass security, or use bots or automated means without our written permission;
- try to learn how our scoring works in order to manipulate it, or misuse any AI feature.
You can report a problem at any time on the Report page. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules.
6. Employers
- You will use candidate information only to recruit and evaluate candidates, and you will follow all employment, anti-discrimination, privacy and automated-decision laws that apply to you, including any required notices and audits.
- You are responsible for your hiring decisions. Scores and rankings are information, not decisions, and must not be your only basis for one.
- Pay-benchmark and similar figures come from postings on GROW™ and are estimates, not guarantees or professional advice.
- You will keep candidate information confidential and delete it when you no longer need it.
7. Premium, trials and payments
- Connections Premium includes a one-time 60-day free trial. It begins only when you choose Start free trial. Signing in does not start or extend it. No card is needed to start, and each member gets one trial. When it ends you return to Free unless you choose to continue.
- To continue, you may subscribe for $9.98 per month. If you add a card during your trial, $9.98/month starts after your 60-day trial. A subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard (Manage or cancel subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep Premium until then. Except where the law requires, we do not give refunds for partial periods.
- Organization Pages are a paid monthly subscription at the price and any introductory offer shown at checkout. If a subscription lapses or a payment fails, the page is hidden until it is paid again; your content is kept.
- Premium includes monthly usage allowances for some features. They reset on the first day of each month (UTC), and reaching a limit never causes an extra charge.
- Prices exclude taxes we are required to collect. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price increase, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it is resolved.
- Premium is not offered in the European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland until we complete tax registration there.
8. AI and automated tools
Scores, gap analyses, plans and other results are informational. They follow defined rules and may contain errors or miss relevant experience. A skill shown as “not evidenced” means a resume or profile does not show it, not that you lack it. Paying for Premium does not raise a score or grant SR™ status. Read more on AI and Automated Scoring.
9. No guarantee of jobs or hires
SkillVantage is not an employer or recruiter, and we do not guarantee any job, interview, hire, candidate quality, or income. Employers and members are independent. SR™ (SkillVantage-Ready) and NSR™ (Non-SkillVantage-Ready) tags describe our process and are not a certification, a guarantee of skill, or an endorsement.
10. Our property
The Services, including GROW™, IntelliSkill™, Cenna™, SR™, NSR™ and EmployerHub, and their software, design and content (other than Your Content) belong to SkillVantage and its licensors. We give you a limited, personal, revocable license to use the Services under these Terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
11. Copyright
We respond to copyright notices under the DMCA. See our Copyright policy to send a notice or a counter-notice.
12. Third-party services
The Services work with third parties, including LinkedIn sign-in, Stripe, and meeting-link providers. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.
13. Ending your use
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where practical, if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we stop offering the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT, SCORE OR RESULT IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. WE DO NOT CONTROL, AND ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR, THE CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF MEMBERS OR EMPLOYERS.
15. Limit of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, SKILLVANTAGE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, WAGES, OPPORTUNITIES, DATA OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY APPLY ONLY AS FAR AS THE LAW PERMITS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
16. Indemnity
You will defend and reimburse SkillVantage and its owners, officers and employees against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or anyone's rights, to the extent the law allows.
17. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact legal@skillvantageenterprise.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Any claim you or we bring will be brought in the courts located in the District of Columbia, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, unless the law requires another place for consumers. Each party will bring claims only on an individual basis, to the extent the law allows.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version and update the date above, and for significant changes we will notify you before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the changes.
19. General
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, are the whole agreement between us about the Services. If part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights without our consent; we may transfer ours in a merger or sale. We may send you notices by email or in the Services, and you agree to receive them electronically.
